The Intergroup on the Welfare and Conservation of Animals has expressed their support for China's ban on the wildlife trade for human consumption.
They've done so in a letter addressed to Ambassador Zhang Ming at the Mission of the People's Republic of China to the EU in Brussels, in which they commend China for leading efforts to develop a new paradigm, and encourage the Chinese Government to take further action ban the use of wild animals for the production of traditional medicines as well.
